    Why won’t my Xbox one game work?


    So I have Lego Marvel super heroes For the Xbox one i recently bought an Xbox series S but I still whant we to play so I looked it up and transferred the game to my external hard drive but it said I don’t own it so I network transfer it and I still get the message and I did the Xbox reset but keep my games and some other thing

    Why won’t my Xbox one game work?

    You would need to own it digitally in order to be able to play it on a Series S. Otherwise, you need the disc in order to show you own a license for the game. Since the Series S doesn't have a disc drive, it's not possible to play games from disc on it.

    I bought the vault edition upgrade for mw3 and it’s not working

    I got the game by sharing with a different Xbox (which only works with digital games). The game was purchased digitally on a separate account and Xbox but I am able to play it on my account and Xbox from game sharing. Is that why my digital vault edition upgrade won’t work?

    good luck. I even tried to purchase it because I got so frustrated. It still doesn’t work. That’s why they won’t give a redemption code. It won’t work. Fix this Xbox. This sucks
