Why won’t my Xbox load games but apps still work

There is an error code that comes up however I can’t remember it from the top of my head I can tell you at a later time.

My console isn’t enrolled with the Xbox insider programme

Yes games won’t work on either. Only apps work.

I have done both resets. Keeping games and then again without keeping games and I’m no further forward.

If so, what's the full error message or code?

— Is your console enrolled in the Xbox Insider program?

— Do you have this issue no matter if the games you want to play are installed on the internal console storage or on an external hard drive?

— When you factory reset the console, could I know which option you choose, keep games and apps, o clear everything?

Please let me know the error code as soon as possible, because for now, it could be a hardware issue. However, before considering that, I want to suggest this potential solution:

Perform an offline update on your console. This potential fix requires a USB drive formatted as NTFS and a PC to transfer the required files to it.

Note: Depending on the Xbox you have, make sure to download the respective OSU files.

Doesn’t do anything still won’t load my games

None of my games are loading and it says the same code and I’ve done everything to restart my Xbox and it won’t work and my friends don’t have this problem
