Why won't my xbox download games on disc?

I just got R.E.7. yesterday and it made it to 49% then stopped. I went to reboot it and saw that the power brick light was orange so I rebooted and cooled down the brick. I went back this morning and still stuck at zero I have tried rebooting and power
cycling nothing works though. please help.

Hello Peef,

Thank you for posting here on the Xbox forums. Sorry to hear that you are having issues installing games from disc on your Xbox one. If you haven't already, can you try installing them while in offline mode?

Cancel any installations, then go into your network settings. Select "Go offline". Then you can go back to the home screen and insert the disc.

Let us know the results.

My Black Ops 3 disc is perfect. No scratches or anything. I bought it a few years back and played it a lot. I had all the dlc too. I uninstalled it for space when Black Ops 4 came out. I didnt like that game so I wanted 3 back, but the game had disappeared
from the store and my games and apps (ready to install). I had spent $100 on a game that i cant even play anymore and it is very annoying. I can even download all my dlc, but not the game. I dont want to spend another $60 on the bundle to play a game I already
own. This is the only place I can contact someone who might respond, I've tried everywhere else.

P.S. all other discs work just fine

have you tried power cycling it? if that doesn't work there may be a problem with the disc tray.

Is the disc possibly damaged?

Do other discs work in the Xbox? Can it play DVDs or Blu-Ray discs? If it can play those, then there may be an issue with the disc itself.
