Why wont my xbox controller turn on? even with batteries and cables

I don't know how it is in your country but here in Germany you can insist to get a new one or your money back if something is faulty within 14 days after you purchased it. So bring it back to the shop as soon as possible.

If the controller's Xbox button isn't lighting up after trying new batteries and cables, it unfortunately seems that the controller is faulty. In this case, I advise returning the controller to the store it was bought from.

yeah my xbox one x controller keeps disconnecting and wont charge a battery. Ive tried 3 cables and 2 batteries.

1. My controller wont turn on at all for any of the games on my pc

2.It was working perfectly but now (as i said) wont turn on after not using it for maybe 3 days.

3.The usb-c cable is connected properly

4.the controller dosent have batteries (its an xbox elite controller) and when i put the controller on the charger nothing happens.

My controller also dosent turn on at all so i cant check if it needs updated.

try removing the batteries and using only the cable and try turning it on then it wont attempt to get power from batteries this way
