    Why wont my skins show? (Java Edition)


    I recently re-downloaded Minecraft on a new PC and ever since I started playing on servers hosted by Aternos me and my friend's skins haven't been showing. It always shows up as the default skins, (such as Steve, Alex, etc..) Though my friends claim that they can see my skin and they can see their own. I've tried looking up what to do to fix this issue but it every result I research it says the same thing, it says to go to Settings>Profile then disable "Only Allow Trusted Skins" except this looks like it's only available to bedrock players. Please let me know how I can fix this issue.

    To set your expectations properly, the McDonald's Minecraft skin cannot be used in the Java Edition of the game because the McDonald's skin promotion is exclusively for the Bedrock Edition of Minecraft.

    You will need to use the Minecraft: Bedrock Edition to access and equip the McDonald's skin.
