Why won’t my series x turn on or off my tv now?

I understand that you have an issue controlling your TV using your Xbox Series X controller and you are not able to turn it On or Off. Let’s work together in finding the best resolution to this issue.

For me to better understand the issue, I’d like to ask a few questions:

• Is this working before?
  
• Are you getting any error message?
  
• What is the make and model of your TV?
  

I went to the Xbox official website and I found the steps below for you to correct the issue. Please be guided.

• Xbox Series X|S consoles can use an HDMI feature called Consumer Electronics Control (CEC) to send commands to and from CEC-enabled devices (such as TVs and AVRs) that are connected to the console. These commands include:
  

• Turning your TV/AVR on or off whenever the Xbox console is turned on or off.
  
• Turning off your Xbox console when your TV/AVR is turned off.
  
• Using the Xbox button on your controller to quickly switch your TV input to your Xbox console.
  

These features can be turned on and off via the TV & A/V power options settings screen. Press the Xbox button  to open the guide, then go to Profile & system > Settings > General > Power mode & start-up > TV & A/V power options.

Yes I did why would my one s work and the series x not work??? Why did it turn it off once and not again? Turns it on just fine!

I have a series x connected to a Philips Amerlight 65pus8535 I get 5he silver metallic screen playing x/s dedicated games and it also appears while using Disney plus app from my tv apps! Is this a problem with my tv or is it a Dolby vision problem, I have turned off the dolby for gaming and this worked but in the detail list on my Xbox series x it says that the dolby vision may experience distortion?

I have tried turning everything off and disconnected everything, turned on the tv and connected the xbox to the amp and connected the amp to the tv making sure I plugged in to a arc input and turned that on I made sure the hdmi control on my amp was turned on my xbox will turn my amp on but my amp won't control my tv my old one s console had option to separately control both tv and amp but my series x console only has one option for cec control
