Why won't my play store open

I've had that happen when there's an update for the Store available, but it's not installed yet. Manually check for updates and if an update is available for it, it'll be downloaded and installed.

if there is an issue with the store a soft factory reset helps most often. Soft means you can keep your games and settings.

You just need your email & password to download your profile after the reset.
