Why won’t my new gamertag show on party chat or any games

As others have said, you have to wait in order to be able to change your gamertag.

You have to wait for next year for new features

It shows up fine for other people in parties and even is fine in games for me. It's only in party chat when it shows the old gamertag. Also it wouldn't show the new gamertag on Xbox.com if it was denied.

I changed my gamertag 2 days ago and it's doing the same thing. on Xbox live friends list and in party chat it shows my old gamertag and on the Xbox app. On xboxlive.com it shows new gamertag
