    Why won't my headset work?


    Hey guys, I have been having a little issue. The cord that I use to plug my xbox one controller to the Xbox is very loose and turns off with the slightest touch. I somewhat fixed the problem by duct taping the living daylights out of the connection so it
    would stay put. Now, sometimes when I jerk the remote a little bit, it unplug itself somehow and interrupts my game, but it also shuts off all hearing through my headset. So whenever my controller turns off, so does my headset, and I have to restart my console
    to get the hearing back. My headset is the Ear Force XO One xbox one headset. No matter how many times I try to unplug and plug the headset back into the converter, there is never any sound after my controller shuts off. Please help and thanks for your time.

    Xbox one headset STILL not working

    Ah, that might be your problem, plugging the headset in. Also, make sure that you check for updates while the headset is plugged in.

    For me, if I even unplug my headset while in a game then plug it back in really quick, my headset won't work again until I restart my console. Not sure the reason why but it happens that way. Trying turning on your xbox with the headset in the controller
    and see if that helps.

    The Tritton Warhead is the only fully wireless 360 headset, and this:

    Anything wireless won't work. The mic on the Tritton Warhead is wireless. The mic won't work.

    This is, most likely, the reason why Microsoft did the controller revision. It doesn't make the adapter moot but it's good to know that future owners of the console won't need it for their legacy headsets.
