Why won't my game launch after switching to the latest console

I noticed you can't play Rust on the new Xbox console.

I'm glad to have the opportunity to give you some advice.



The first thing you can be sure of is that you can download Rust on Xbox One X, which means that your game license is not an issue.

So are you experiencing similar issues when playing other games?



In fact you have performed almost all of the troubleshooting steps that can be performed on the Xbox console and have troubleshot almost all of the issues from the Xbox System.



If the issue is only occurring in Rust, then game compatibility with Xbox would be the next thing to consider.

I think you switched them up . Forza, Zoo Tycoon, Powerstar Golf are all launch titles, while Minecraft, Halo, Titanfall, Project Spark, are not.

Disclaimer: A “clean boot” starts Windows with a minimal set of drivers and startup programs. It helps to determine whether a background service is interfering with your game or program and to isolate the cause of a problem.

These steps of "clean boot" might look complicated at first glance. However, to avoid any trouble for you, please follow them in order and step-by step so that it will help you get back on track.

1. Press Win+R to open the Run dialog. Type msconfig and press Enter to open the System Configuration window.
   
2. Select the Services tab, check Hide all Microsoft services, and then click Disable all.
