Why won’t mw2 get past the title screen?

Not helpful atall as I tried all of it and still no change

yo it's 100% your xbox gold subscription status. was playing last night and got kicked off servers in the middle of a match with a notification that i did not have permission to play on this account. the game kicked me out to the main title screen and i could not access the game any longer. i reinstalled the game overnight thinking that'd solve the issues (also bc i still have glitched camos) but the problem remained. after reading these replies, the only factor i could come to was my xbox live gold status. as of 1/3/23 you are required to have an xbox gold subscription to get past the title menu screen. hope this helps, santa seña is the worst.

this is what you have to do, once done it should work just fine.

Back out when it is saying " connecting to data centers". Then click go offline and proceed to enter a local multiplayer lobby. Then back out of that in main cod menu and hit the select button, this should work. You may have to update Xbox gold after if your subscription has expired.

This helped Oml i haven’t been able to play since the 19th and I didn’t have Xbox live but when I bought it that’s when it finally let me in
