    Why won't multiplayer work on Java?


    I have turned on multiplayer through the family settings app, it works on bedrock for my iPad but when I try to play on Java on my MacBook multiplayer still says to change my settings.

    why won't multiplayer work?

    1. Press the Xbox button  to open the guide.

    2. Select Profile & system > Settings > Account > Privacy & online safety > Xbox Live privacy.

    Then select multiplayer and change it to Allow.

    how do i fix my minecraft multiplayer mode

    I tried both versions, and also signing in and out of the account, the current problem is only with the java edition, my bedrock version seems to be working fine and is able to access multiplayer servers, while my java version still asks me to enable multiplayer in my microsoft account setting.
