Since I bought the Xbox 1, my 360 wont allow me to talk over the Kinect when I play folks on the 360. Is that normal?

I purchased a new xbox live membership renewal when I got my xbox one since the membership was offered at a 20% discount. Is this affecting my Xbox live on my 360 (not being able to talk)?

Canoot connect to my friends with xbox one when i have a 360

Hi, My friends have all had xbox ones for Christmas where as I still have an xbox 360. As I like to talk to them I have been trying to invite them into a party so we can talk to each other. However for some reason I can invite them by pressing the
x button when I go onto their gamertags in my friends list, however when I click on their name it will not allow me to do this. Also my friends would then send me a invite however I am not able to see it for some reason. I was wondering if anyone new why this
is happening.

They use different servers,that's why you can't talk to friends on the 360 if your on the xbox one.

Something that was well known before the xbox ones launch.

If you ask me I think not allowing chat between generations is the most monumental oversight that Microsoft has made in this new generation of consoles.

I hate that I have to run my 360 just to talk to my friends.

Whenever I launch an xbox 360 game on the xbox one x my party chat is not allowing me to talk with my friends. My friend has the same issue.

Is this without the other players being on 360? Ive found that same issue when playing on the 360 and having friends still playing One games. But ive never had this issue with others on the 360 as well. Try it with everyone once your in the 360 mode
and then party up. Thats what worked for me.

I restart my laptop and the app multiple time ady but still the same. And I dont know why my pc wont allow me to uninstall it just allowed me to reset or terminate only for this APP
