why wont it let me do this?

ok so im wondering why it wont let me play minecraft on another profile on my xbox 360?

with my xbox live running out and the 360 being killed off due to gen 4 console i started a new offline profile on my xbox and would like to get my minecraft achievments on it. all my other games i have downloaded on my xbox will let all profiles play.

i dont understand why this is happening. i mean i payed for the game why should it be restricted?

Just got a new slimline xbox and its gorgeous i was in heaven until i tried to sign in to my gamertag. I have been refused entry completely. I used the correct email address and even changed the microsoft password just to be sure but its still giving me
the middle finger what should i do????

 

not sure what your problem is. why you make a new profile because your gold membership is running out? and you're playing on your 360 but it's broken...because of the 4th generation of consoles?

now you pointed that out, yes i did have to get a newer xbox last year so ill have to get the license transfer checked, ill look at the link.

when i mentioned 4th gen of consoles i was on about modern generaytions of consoles.

heres a breakdown of modern generations.

Gen 1. playstation 1

Gen 2. xbox playstation 2 nintendo gamecube

Gen 3. nintendo wii xbox 360 playstation 3 nintendo wii u

Gen 4. xbox one playstation 4

so taking into account only modern generations my statement was correct.

 

License transfer sounds like the issue. I'd advise against creating multiple accounts because of that reason. The 360 isn't being killed off, your profile will transfer from console to console. All the purchases attached to multiple accounts could be
all transferred so you could play them with any account on that xbox. It's just it could get difficult o manage and you can only do the license transfer to a console but they're still attached to a single account. So say you have to get another 360 due
to a malfunction you'll need to license transfer all the purchases from each account separately and since there are limitations as to when they can be done you could find yourself in a postition where some games won't work on the other accounts until the time
they can do a transfer comes up again. Just food for thought. Over time we've had people post here saying they're doing the same thing and have regretted it. Of course it all depends on the amount of content you have too.

That is a very subjective, and I think wrong way to look at it. What exactly constitutes "modern" and what doesn't? I would say (my subjective opinion) what constitutes "modern" video is the shift
from pixelated graphics to 3D renderings and polygon graphics.

When it comes to 3D graphics, this happened long before the introduction of original Playstation, on systems such as the SEGA Dreamcast. They even appeared much earlier than that, in more a primitive
form, in the "Mode7" games such as Star Fox and F-Zero on the SNES.
