    WHAT?

    New XBoxOne today, can't play on it because it won't do an update.

    1. Why does a brand new console need an update?

    2. Why should I need to be online to play a single player game?

    3. Is Microsoft owned by the Grinch because they have ruined my Christmas!!!!!!!!

    WTH!?!?! new update wont let me play halo reach!

    with the brand new update it won't accept my email to get on to xbox live

    Hey there!

    Are you getting an error when attempting to update a game? Once thing I would like to call out is that you can see any pending updates for a game by selecting 'My games & apps'.

    Let us know what you find!

    Are you getting an error when attempting to update a game? Once thing I would like to call out is that you can see any pending updates for a game by selecting 'My games & apps'.

    So I got this error as well. Nothing seems to fix it. I went out and purchased a brand new Xbox One S. Same problem! System installs that fall update patch and boom E200 USB won't fix it either!

    Having problems with lots of newer games on older 360

    Similar issue. Xbox 360 S 250gb, plays large collection of discs no problem. Brand new AC4, and Rocksmith 2014 won't load (unable to read). New AC3 plays fine. No used games, these are all brand new.
