Why won't devs utilise the "quick resume" function in new release games?

We appreciate your coming to the Xbox community. What games have you played recently and noticed the absence of Quick Resume? I have been playing games like Marvel Avengers and Far Cry 6, both of which have quick resume. Usually, games are getting the quick resume after a few days or weeks of release, not all games will have this feature, unfortunately, as it depends on the developer as well.

When you tried to pin then to the quick resume function, they were not added or the option to add them could not be selected?

that means the new quick resume feature works with those games

The council is doing various housekeeping tasks, it is nothing to worry about. For example if you’re playing a game and support as quick resume, it’s dumping the RAM to the hard drive so that that feature can function when you turn it back on

I closed out all my quick resume still doing that. Does your take 5 mins to shut off?

Shark,by because developers don't provide the AAA blockbuster game is the reason why most people don't want it. It's like a console. If developers don't make good games for it then it's a failure. If dev's see no reason to prove to us that Kinect is worth
getting then why should we spend money on it?

When kinect was introduced it was a cool new feature with great potential. But no dev was willing to utilise it to that potential. So we should accept it now simply based of empty promises?
