Why when I go to download on the Microsoft store it's all greyed out?

Try to clear MS store cache. Press the Win + R key to open the Run dialog.

Type cmd and click OK to open Command Prompt.

In the Command Prompt window, type the following command and hit Enter to execute:

WSReset.exe

Then open the Microsoft Store, then click on the profile picture in the top right corner. A pop-up box will appear allowing you to sign out then once signed out, kindly sign in again using the account that has the game pass and should change the store account. Try installing your games again.

When I went into a local game, it came up with Jason greyed out to the side of Kung Lao, when I went over to him, it said download, so I pressed A and it went to the Kombat Store but all that was there was Goro, don't know if it was a glitch but yeah..

Based on the description you posted, it seems that you have an issue with Xbox wherein even after resetting and logging in and out of your computer. Your download button in Microsoft is still greyed out.



Let’s work together in finding the best solution to this issue.



For me to better understand the issue, I’d like to ask a few questions:

• When was the last time you were able to download apps in Microsoft Store? Have you made any changes before this issue has occurred?

• What version of Windows are you currently using? To check your Windows version > Just press your Windows key and type in: winver then just press enter.

• Are you using any third party VPN?

• Have you already checked if the download button is also greyed out when you download other apps?

• Do you have any restore point that you might have created recently before this issue has occurred?

• What other troubleshooting steps have you tried so far?



In the meantime, we would like you to try the steps provided down below:

Fix 1: Delete files from a certain folder

1. Remove all files from this path file > C:\Users\User_name\AppData\Local\Packages \

Microsoft.WindowsStore_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache

2. Now restart your device and try to check if the download button is now clickable.

Fix 2: Create a new user profile

1. Select Start > Settings > Accounts and then select Family & other users. (In some versions of Windows you'll see Other users.)
   
2. Select Add someone else to this PC.
   
3. Select I don't have this person's sign-in information, and on the next page, select Add a user without a Microsoft account.
   
4. Enter a user name, password, or password hint—or choose security questions—and then select Next.
