Why we don't have any new games playable in split-screen mode in 2023?

Nope game manufacturers havw to.serve not just one choice

They have to serve multiple

And they do t have any say om games as proven with ftc case and cma

Only sony has that leverage

You are mistaking game consoles for publishers

The problem is there isn't an answer aside from the fact that gaming has always been evolving and with gaming moving toward a seemingly digital future, split screen is looking to be an experience of the past.

I too miss the days of jumping on a warthog gunner with a friend and flying 300 feet in the air all while dodging the pink needles bursting past my head from the comfort of the same room sharing the TV for a more appealing gaming experience with a friend. However, I can't even tell you the last time this was an option without using the word "years" which can go unsaid.

I didnt in know way mean for my previous response to come off condescending in any way. I simply stated that as many answers as we both want, they aren't there as gaming has evolved dramatically. Selfishly, I have the same question about video stores but sadly we are in a very fast-moving time in regards to technology.

Johnny I never asked you to find me a solution personally to the problem as you describe it in an humorous way but rather to have a brief possible explanation of this problem which persists for which no one seems to have an answer. I would have liked a response from a member of the community who would have an answer on this subject.

We are a gaming community in place to assist our fellow players. We do not hold mass meetings with billion-dollar corporations to implement our feedback on multiplayer availability and as much as id love to have that as an option in my back pocket, im sure as a fellow gamer, you can understand, it's not that easy to contact support and make a massive movement toward a split screen option.

I do apologize.

I know this very well but as a consumer I get information from the industry who accredits the games on his platform.
And if the client is not happy there should be an appointment to remedy situations such as these.
