why was my pre ordered game canceled

Hey all, the best thing I can think of as to why this is, is that it prevents people from pre-ordering the game, getting the content, and then canceling the pre-order. After all the whole point is to get the game and I know there’s gonna be some people
that, upon getting a modern warfare content, we’re just turn around and cancel it. They’ve already got the content and didn’t have to pre-order anything

If the pre order got canceled, it is probably because your payment method did not have funds to process the order. Microsoft usually tries to charge your payment method two times on a pre order before cancelling it.

Hi, AbyssKP. As Smwutches said, the first charge you received was just an authorization charge. This is made by most marketplaces only to check if your card have sufficient funds.

The real charge, as the article I provided said, is applied 10 days before the game release. As Microsoft was not able to charge you, the pre-order was canceled.

Furthermore, you may want to contact your bank and review if this first charge was finally reversed or not, because the authorization charge is always reversed after a few days.
