Why was my messaging banned?

Okay so I was sat chilling on Youtube and I get an enforcement notification so I follow the link etc and read that I've violated the Code etc but I check my reputation and past offences and in the past six months I've had THREE bad reviews soo why the ****
has my messaging been banned?! This **** is pathetic I should of just went with the PS4.

How to fix messaging

Help me fix messaging on xbox live. On my main account messaging doesn’t work but on my other it does. Help me see why it won’t work on my main.

Voice Messaging is a No Brainer.

Why would you pay money for "Skype" if you could use voice messaging and video messaging?

 

The main reason is because the Xbox live reputation system is extremely flawed and realistically there isn't much you can do about it.

The ambassadors on here will chalk it up to your own behaviour because they have no real interest in individual cases.

 

Ambassadors are volunteers who answer questions and give advice about Xbox and Xbox Live. They aren't paid, they aren't Staff, they aren't moderators and can't change anything, enforce anything or do anything with individual cases. If you don't want to follow
the advice, the choice is yours.

It IS your own behavior and how OTHERS perceive it on Xbox Live that establish your rep, period. False reports are false reports.

 

exactly you just said it yourself, its how people percieve it. That straight away shows just how flawed the system is

If I play legitimate and someone THINKS im cheating then my rep is lowered because of it. On what planet is that fair?

You do not have control over your rep

Your behaviour does and how people see it

Just like in real life no one person can change your rep but you not the principle or your parents what makes you think you can change it here by force

And FYI your issue has nothing to do with the ops issue

Reputation is not an enforcement issue but your behaviour

If he has bad rep on communications isn't that enough proof? Along with the enforcement action

But if you were reported as a bad communication like trash talking excessively or cursing it is a valid complaimt and yes Sony will enforce cursing it's is a common rule among servers

Yes, you do not have control over your rep in realife, but you cant be given an infraction by the law when someone gets upset for no reason thats the big difference

E.g if someone says I stole from them, it have to be proven. On xbox someone makes an allegation and it is accepted without investigation.

You keep saying I am showing the reputation to be correct. Let me say it this way; if you were jailed for something you were accused of doing, knowing full well you had done nothing then it would be hard not to be annoyed or upset.

I feel like you need to get off your ambassador high horse.

I am not looking to change my rep by force, I am looking into the forums because there are now many people whom are becoming affected by this issue.

When it comes to trash talking via messaging etc - I would say that is completely fair. If enforcement look into the issue and they can view the messages, case closed.

However i have 16 reports for voice messaging? I never use my microphone in game chat, only when i am in a party with one friend i play gears with.

These reports clearly arent validated or monitored if these reports even exist.

 

I never said that it was okay to respond to people when they slander you, of course if you reply then you too are breaking the rules

All i said was that this is what people are doing and they are.

People do try to bait others into an argument so they can report them, thats not my opinion its a fact.

If someone replies then they have to accept the consequences of breaking the code of conduct.

I am not posting incorrect info, all i am doing is posting information from my own experience.

How is posting a generic response to someone helping them?

If someone is being affected by bad rep then its likely they understand of the rep system works

Even if they don't - its the most unhelpful thing to post a link to enforcement and say "there is useful tips to improve your rep through that link"

Most people are being reported for bad behaviour when they aren't even misbehaving.

How can you correct bad behaviour when you're doing nothing to warrant the report in the first place?
