Why was my digital refund denied if I made the request before the 14 days?

Hello,

I made the unconscious mistake of purchasing the wrong version of the 2K23 digital release. I play on the Xbox S but had made the purchase for the Xbox One. Whoops!

I loved the game so much that I bought another copy for my brother as a gift. He pointed out that it was the wrong version. The refund window for my copy is beyond the 14 days, but the copy I bought for him was within the timeframe. I applied for a refund with the intention of purchasing the newer version, but I have been denied stating that my request was beyond the 14 days.

I’m looking for some help in this matter.

It's less then 2hours or 14 days whichever comes first

Bit as mentioned if you gifted it via xbox live then no once redeemed it can't be refunded
