    Why was my account locked?


    When i went to sign in to xbox yesterday. I get greeted with the message there is something wrong fix it at account . Live . Com. When i try to go to microsoft website and sign in it says my account has been temporarily locked or suspended. I dont know if it said anything about terms of service or not. But anyway this account was only 2 days old with a new email and gamertag. Its weird that it got locked? It happened to me on a previous account i created as well after 2 days then deleted. Has this happened to anyone else?

    If you are able to provide your basic account information as well as your secret question and/or provide the last 4 digits of any CC that has ever been on your account, then support will be able to lock your account and suspend your subscription. If you
    can't provide this information, then support can't lock and suspend & it'll have to wait until investigations gets it.

    I'm in the same situation...

    I called them.

    This is what I found:

    -My account is under a semi-lock (I can't purchase stuff)

    -Once the investigation team takes control, it will be a full lock

    I'm still able to play 1 week after I called.

    I'm calling tomorrow to get an update

    you can use your profile offline but not online when an account is locked

    are you sure its an unauthorized access case or was a unauthorized charges case

    (the last one just means yuou cannot purchase anything till its over)
