why was i suspended and for how long ?

Phoning would be pointless phone support have no information regarding suspensions.

However it is well known that when an account is suspended and email is sent to the account linked to the gamertag in question I would recommend checking there. you can also check your accounts passed and current enforcement actions by heading over to

Posting personal info like your email address is not allowed on the forums.

Phoning support will do nothing as they are nothing to do with xbox live enforcement.

The email that you got will have told you the reason why you were suspended or you can post here

forums.xbox.com/.../41.aspx but the enforcement team will only tell you the same thing that was in the email.

Posting there will tell you why you were suspended, not how long, unless it's a permanent suspension. To find out how long you've been suspended, try signing into live and it should say "Suspended until ____" and give you the date.

It will tell you why you are suspended and for how long. Also please check your messages as this sounds like a communication suspension (along with checking your email), it will also tell you how long and why you were suspended.
