Why was i issued a gamerpic ban?

You play your games, chat, Private message etc. Somewhere along the line you WILL be compelled to defend yourself and in so doing. The Banhammer. It takes but few bans for Ma & Pa Macro bucks to permaban you and when that happens. You lose your account as
well as your digital purchases.

So you get perhaps another console and repurchase those same 5 games. Another $500 bucks... So its a win win for MS, and yes. Sony as well to find even Newer ways of banning you.

After all, its good for business eh.

This is my ninth year of Xbox Gold. For six days every week, I *do* play my games, chat, private message etc. However, unlike the majority I do this in deathly silence - not excepting the 5.1 speaker system which wakes up the neighborhood when I'm doing
all of the above (lol). Perhaps I'm the exception to the rule, or just anti-social, but I prefer playing ALONE. If ever there's a need for company, I choose "co-operative" from a list of known and trusted friends. There is absolutely no way that I would *ever*
feel compelled to defend myself when playing online.

The closest I've come to being penalized was back in the bad old days of [PlayStation Home] when feeding the trolls was an occupational hazard. That was 2009, and my PSN account sits ready and waiting for more activity or online purchases. It's NEVER good
for business when a company denies the customer the right to enjoy a multitude of apps or services because they've not been able to abide by the rules. You're only punished (or denied access to these services) if you fail to learn from your mistakes. The onus
is entirely on the *user* to play nicely, mind their manners, and safeguard their accounts - thus ensuring that "good business" can continue.

If your gamerpic violates the rules you MAY get a 24 hour suspension,you are NOT permanently banned so you do NOT have spend any more money to rebuy your stuff again.

You don't even have to use a custom gamerpic if you don't want.

You have to do something extremely severe to be permanently banned for a first offence.

Permanent bans are handed out as a last resort when someone has had several suspensions already.

You get a warning in the ToU/CoC of what is not acceptable on xbox live,if you have received several suspensions then you are given more warnings,if you haven't learnt your lesson by then & get banned then it's your fault.

You are given several chances,more than you would get on PSN.It has nothing at all with trying to get more money out of people.

Yet again trying to see a conspiracy when there isn't one so you just make stuff up,like your 60% of xbox live users have enforcement action at some point.

You admit that you wouldn't have to defend yourself against trusted friends, then in the same breath admit to being anti-social and prefer playing alone.

Look, all I am saying is. It takes all kinds to make a world, and the more the powers that be regulate or circumvent away diversity. The more the world rebells... I think MS and Sony knows that but bc such actions has the potiential to also generate $$$$$$$
they run with it.

I haven't given them any and I've been on Live over 10 years.

I also haven't had ANY problem obeying their rules.

I can only assume that you struggle every day to keep from getting a ban. Right? Again, tell us about all the extra money YOU'VE given MS for bans. I'll wait for your answer.

MS knew full well that by allowing user made gamerpic that bans would follow. The more ways in which to ban, the more reason for Ma & Pa Macro Bucks to hand out account/console bans etc, thereby stripping you of everything including digital purchases.

Console, $200 bucks.

Notice, I didn't even mention XBL Gold. So Parents, if your child gets banned even ONCE for any reason, you would be better served to just sell the console and games, buy your child a ball and enjoy the outdoors. Pay no attention to people who may say. "Your
child will hate you." For they'll never do that.

Wow, I wasn't expecting these why my gamer pic get banned, so quickly, given the tiny amount of people who participate on here.

Your gamer pic isn't allowed to be racist in any way. Your R word refers to a working class white person (racist, as it refers too one group of people), working class.... maybe again refers to a type of people. Your picture also refers to a nation. You should
be more discrete. Even though people may take pride in your countries flag, you shouldn't use any picture which may be politically culturally or spiritually sensitive.

Why not try posting some appropriate pictures of yourself or while you were on holiday. You should also be more careful, as kids teens and young adults play on Xbox too. You should be a role model to the younger peeps, and your gamer pic doesn't influence
that. I mean even peeps on here possibly younger than you, (due to "working class", who have participated in this thread, may know why your pic got banned.

I will leave you the link to the official Code of Conduct. Brief/skim read it, especially the points, it isn't a lot to read. If you're first language is English (hey, he could be Spanish or Mexican or something), then you should be clearly able to tell
why your pic got banned. Unless it's been a very long time since you went to school.

What email? Are you suggesting the enforcement team couldn't spell any of the words YOU'VE just "misspelled" (see above)? Also, if you're nineteen then your education has been sorely neglected because you've also misspelled "dose" (correction: does) and
"breif" (correction: brief) in your original post - not to mention a litany of grammatical errors.

Referencing your original post: "there is clearly no nudity or lewd material, extreme violence, profane or offensive terms or gestures..." Are you honestly not aware of the "offensive" nature of calling somebody a redneck? It doesn't matter if YOU deem the
word to be legit; it's clearly not politically correct and a quick check of dictionary.com will tell you why.
