Why was i issued a gamerpic ban?

I would like to be able to know why my gamer pic was a violation of the Microsoft Services Agreemeet there is clearly no nudity or lewd material, extreme violence, profane or offensive terms or gestures, or other contact designed to sound like, look like,
referenced or allude of these topics . On a breif note it has the American flag mixed with rebel flag and says family tradition and Heritage and also Redneck Nation which is a group of rappers please someone contact me as soon as possible and let me know what
the final decision is or is there anything you can do about it

For over a year I've had the same Gamertag, [Mod Removed]. But, after I suppose someone reported me, I'm forced to a preset name that I had no choice of choosing? I just don't understand how after over a year of playing with the same Gamertag, I suddenly
get it taken away from me. Microsoft obviously has not found it offensive, after making several reports to them. You'd think that something else could be done? I truley don't understand how someone can find it offensive, after seeing other Gamertags with
the word "Killer", or something worse in it. The only possible way I can see it being reported is that someone in a game may have gotten mad at me, and reported me for doing nothing wrong. Please help me make sense out of this change, and tell me whats so
wrong about it.

You can view your enforcement by logging in at enforcement.xbox.com and file a case review from there if eligible. The enforcement team does not use the forums.

Because it not any of those things it said in the message xbox live team sent me no im not 10 im 19 and i dont think a 10 year old can type a email like that without miss spelling anything

Add this along with all the other banhammers and rep system and surely MS is pushing past 60% of there users being banned for one thing or another.

 

What email? Are you suggesting the enforcement team couldn't spell any of the words YOU'VE just "misspelled" (see above)? Also, if you're nineteen then your education has been sorely neglected because you've also misspelled "dose" (correction: does) and
"breif" (correction: brief) in your original post - not to mention a litany of grammatical errors.

Referencing your original post: "there is clearly no nudity or lewd material, extreme violence, profane or offensive terms or gestures..." Are you honestly not aware of the "offensive" nature of calling somebody a redneck? It doesn't matter if YOU deem the
word to be legit; it's clearly not politically correct and a quick check of dictionary.com will tell you why.

 

As a rule of thumb, if a gamerpic going to reference any controversial historical/political thing (which is a violation of the
Code of Conduct, under "Content in Xbox Live"), it's going to get taken down sooner or later.

People in general, let alone Xbox Enforcement, aren't going to recognize that this picture is simply a logo for a rapping group.

The only thing you can do is log on to http://enforcement.xbox.com, review your Enforcement history, and submit a case review as your appeal (if eligible).

Your gamer pic isn't allowed to be racist in any way. Your R word refers to a working class white person (racist, as it refers too one group of people), working class.... maybe again refers to a type of people. Your picture also refers to a nation. You should
be more discrete. Even though people may take pride in your countries flag, you shouldn't use any picture which may be politically culturally or spiritually sensitive.

Why not try posting some appropriate pictures of yourself or while you were on holiday. You should also be more careful, as kids teens and young adults play on Xbox too. You should be a role model to the younger peeps, and your gamer pic doesn't influence
that. I mean even peeps on here possibly younger than you, (due to "working class", who have participated in this thread, may know why your pic got banned.

I will leave you the link to the official Code of Conduct. Brief/skim read it, especially the points, it isn't a lot to read. If you're first language is English (hey, he could be Spanish or Mexican or something), then you should be clearly able to tell
why your pic got banned. Unless it's been a very long time since you went to school.

MS knew full well that by allowing user made gamerpic that bans would follow. The more ways in which to ban, the more reason for Ma & Pa Macro Bucks to hand out account/console bans etc, thereby stripping you of everything including digital purchases.

Console, $200 bucks.

5 AAA digital games, 300 bucks.

You play your games, chat, Private message etc. Somewhere along the line you WILL be compelled to defend yourself and in so doing. The Banhammer. It takes but few bans for Ma & Pa Macro bucks to permaban you and when that happens. You lose your account as
well as your digital purchases.

So you get perhaps another console and repurchase those same 5 games. Another $500 bucks... So its a win win for MS, and yes. Sony as well to find even Newer ways of banning you.

After all, its good for business eh.

Notice, I didn't even mention XBL Gold. So Parents, if your child gets banned even ONCE for any reason, you would be better served to just sell the console and games, buy your child a ball and enjoy the outdoors. Pay no attention to people who may say. "Your
child will hate you." For they'll never do that.

 

You seem to be ignoring the fact that if someone does something that warrants a ban, it's THEIR fault. You also seem to ignore the fact that there are millions of us who don't get bans. (go figure) Are you saying MS doesn't make money off us unless
we break rules? Are you saying their great plan to make money depends on their users to be -------- ? lol Please... feel free to enlighten us all how MS is responsible if a user doesn't know how to behave... and then tell us why those people shouldn't be punished.
I'm guessing if you ever had children on Xbox Live you would feel safer knowing they were with all the -------- the world had to offer? Right? I can't decide if you're really this ignorant or you just try to troll.

It's the same as Police showing up when a loved one has say a heart attack. Sure, you dialed 911 for an EMT, but minutes b4 the EMT's show up 2 or more Policemen arrive and while 1 pretends to attend to your loved one, the others are looking around for an
excuse to make an arrest. Don't bother trying to fight such warrantless searches bc. "You dialed 911" - Better to drag the victom to the street corner then call for help eh.
