Why was I issued a forced Gamertag change?

For over a year I've had the same Gamertag, [Mod Removed]. But, after I suppose someone reported me, I'm forced to a preset name that I had no choice of choosing? I just don't understand how after over a year of playing with the same Gamertag, I suddenly
get it taken away from me. Microsoft obviously has not found it offensive, after making several reports to them. You'd think that something else could be done? I truley don't understand how someone can find it offensive, after seeing other Gamertags with
the word "Killer", or something worse in it. The only possible way I can see it being reported is that someone in a game may have gotten mad at me, and reported me for doing nothing wrong. Please help me make sense out of this change, and tell me whats so
wrong about it.

GAMERTAG CHANGE

The Xbox Policy Enforcement Team only issues forced Gamertag changes to Gamertags that violate the ToU and Code of Conduct. When a Forced Gamertag Change is issued, your Gamertag is converted to a randomly generated tag. I'd recommend just gathering up
the $9.99 and paying for a change, since your Gamertag does not seem to be in violation of the rules, and I do not foresee a Forced Gamertag Change being issued for it.

mygamertage and passward were changed some how by someone else

The new gamertag was a result of your account being issued a Forced Name Change due to having an inappropriate gamertag. If the password was changed, how are you logging in?

You can view your enforcement by logging in at enforcement.xbox.com and file a case review from there if eligible. The enforcement team does not use the forums.

If it was a forced name change you should of been sent a email explaining why or you can check on the enforcement site HERE

It's highly unlikely your were issued a forced name change as the gamertag you were given does not match up with the gamertags the enforcement team issue when someone receives a forced name change.

It might be due to a Forced Gamertag change by the Enforcement team. Although, I'm not exactly sure why since your original Gamertag isn't offensive, in my opinion. Anyways, here is the section from the Enforcement site:

Forced Gamertag Changes

When a forced Gamertag change is imposed, the system automatically assigns a new Gamertag to the affected account, much in the same way a system-generated Gamertag is provided when you first sign up for Xbox Live.

If a player is unhappy with the assigned Gamertag and wishes to change it, he or she may purchase a new Gamertag through the standard Gamertag change process. However, the Gamertag that received the forced change will remain unobtainable.

A forced Gamertag change may be issued if a Gamertag visually resembles, sound likes, represents, hints at, abbreviates, or otherwise insinuates any of the following:

Profane words or phrases
Topics or content of a sexual nature
Hate speech
Controversial religious topics
Notorious people or organizations
Sensitive current or historical events

It doesn't matter how many complaints you receive or why a person complained. The enforcement team will only issue a forced name change if your gamertag violated the code of conduct.
