Why the Xbox won't turn on sometime if the USB plugged in?

What size is your drive? The 8TB drives require external power to function. Are you sure there is enough power? How do you have this connected to the mains supply?

Yep you do know why right ?

Series x controllers are usb type c

If you try and use a xbox series plug and play kit you won't have a controller left or you won't have a working cord

Xbox one and ps4 used usb 2.0 not type c

The USB ports don't provide enough power to charge an iPhone, hence why it won't charge when you plug it in.

I have the same exact problem, my controller tried turning on then eventually stopped with new batteries even, plugged in usb cable and it turned on for 30 seconds maybe and turned off, now when I plug controller into usb port, won't do anything, just bought
controller 2 months ago, paid over $85 and is well taken care of...

The Update is on the USB. Formatted to FAT32. I plug it in while the console is off. when I turn the console on It says

"System update"

"Applying update"

And the bar won't move and then it displays

"System Update stopped"

"Can't read Update from disc"

"22FB-335A-B800-0F00-C000-0013"

And then it will just stay on that screen and won't continue to the dashboard.

The only thing plugged in is the USB device. Theres no CD/DVD in the drive and there's no Xbox memory Cards or hard drives plugged in
