Why the rep system doesn't work

I have been a xbox user for 8 years and never I had this experience. Due to me playing a certain game (overwatch) with a heavily negative player base I have received "avoid me" due to me playing the I want to. Seeing as I am the person who paid for it and
has to pay a subscription to play it. My issue is with rep system, how can you stop players from playing games, just because other player don't like they why they play. Especially when we have to pay for not just the game but the ability to play it. This system
can be played to render some player helpless and unable to play a single game. How is this fair! We pay to play any way and now there is the ability for other player to take way what you pay for, just because they don't like the way you play or even if you
lose which is what happened to me. You need to either get rid of the rep system or stop it from controlling player ability to play. It's a opinion based system that isn't fair.

The only way to fix your rep is to fix your behavjour

Evening if you do 100 good matches while you are under bad rep it takes time to fix your rep

FYI the enforcement rep status doesn't move that's why it always looks good your true rep is on your profile

You will just have to keep playing nife

And play with either players that have bad rep or non party games like elders rolls or never winter

You guys don't understand the system doesnt mean it's broken

Every player has the right to avoid bad players that's why they give feedback that's what you guys don't understand

Then they avoidnyou however this doesn't affect your rep

Apparently the OP is such a poor sport that win or lose no one wants to play with him. You can play the way you want, you just won't play with others so it would appear the system does work.

 

you only get to play with the other avoid me crowd or private party games

Not open matchmaking matches until you fix your behaviour

There is no rebate for poor sportmanship online how to fix it

Start treating your fellow players correctly

 

I mean the evidence is quite clear; in the 2 month that I've been playing overwatch competitively my rep cliff dived. If that does not show you that the rep system can ruin xbox for people, because someone else opinion on them playing a character they want
them to or the fact that the guidelines for report people is open to too many opinion and needs changing. I don't know what will.

 

people that give bad rep are more likely to not find you in games doesn't mean you'll be avoided by everyone just certain people.

Unfortunately u will find no solution to ur probleme here. There is only no competitive player and xbox fan here.

They will not understand ur problem. It is easier to say that it is only because of ur behavior instead of thinking that the reputation system of Xbox should be remake.

The Only thing u can do is creating a new profile or playing a lot World of Tank to meet new people.

Can you expand on that a little bit? What part of "playing the [way you] want to" do you think is contributing to the "heavily negative player base" marking you as unsportsmanlike? I'm not trying to scare-quote you or diminish your complaint; I'd like to
understand better what you think has happened. Are other players losing TO you, and marking you as unsportsmanlike? Or is YOUR TEAM losing and you believe one or more of your teammates is reporting you for unsportsmanlike play? Or is there some way that you
prefer to play that you think overly-sensitive players are interpreting as "unsportsmanlike" (spawn camping, for example)?

I don't think responses such as "just change your behavior" are helpful, until we understand better what your behavior is, and what you think caused others to report you.

Finally a moderator, I'm still avoid me and have been unable to play in my Xbox for 3 weeks now. So I still a little annoyed.

But to answer you questions; it only every team mates that report. I have had countless of messages saying "change character or reported" or having messages blaming me or other team members for a lose. Even when we have proof of them or me doing nothing
wrong, but playing one of 24 characters that are put in the game to be played. And a selected group of player not liking the character. One of my friends on my friends list get reported every game because they play widowmaker. Most opposing player don't care
what you play as long as you don't cheat. But it's team members that just don't like other characters.

Overwatches community is full of players like this. Just search blizzard forums or even your own.

I would just like to know how long it takes to go. If I have to wait another 3 weeks to be able to play my console, I'll just cancel my live subscription and sell my Xbox.
