Why the hell did i get cod on X1

The anolog sticks are shocking. they are to easy to move I cant even aim at anyone. So im thinking of going back to the 360 version.

I have the game on both systems, and to be honest I didn't notice too much difference between the two to start with, but after playing the xbox one version for a couple of weeks and going back to try the 360 version I found the 360 pad really stiff to use
and found I preferred the One pad better. Stick with it you will get used to it.

 

For me personally the analog sticks on the Xbox One is better, going back to the 360 controller I can really tell the big improvements made.

 

Why did you buy COD period...

 

The 360 was released over 7 years ago, that's a long time to get used to that controller. The Xbox One has only been released for less than 2 months. It's going to take everyone some time to adapt for the the controller.

Just play around with your sensitivity, stick at it and get used to it. I'm sure you'll see the improvements after a few weeks and be thankful you kept your cool with the new one.

 

My fingers slip slightly on Xbox One but I still prefer it. The graphics are better too!

 

Lol, I turned my 360 on last night for the first time since getting the X1.... took me a while to get used to the 360 controller again.

The X1 pad definitely feels tighter with better control.

 

I have to agree about the controller the sticks are really loose and seem to have a larger deadspot, they hit the outer edge all the time making a click as they slam against it? The bumpers are rubbish you can only press half of it and it's the half I don't
normally use. I have to actually adjust my grip to use the bumpers correctly not good in the heat of battle. It's that bad I actually never hardly throw grenades or us spot on the XO version of bf4.

The triggers! the triggers are a disgrace if you try and fire a semi auto weapon (say a pistol) it'll stop firing as you will have to come off the trigger a lot more than you use to (or you do with other controllers) meaning you will have to fire slower
or a couple of presses don't do anything.

I hope they address these issues and bring out a new controller, like the 360 ones with the altered d pad.

 

I think overall I do prefer the XB1 controller to the 360 ...

I love the rumble triggers, especially with games like Forza 5 etc.

A few issues though which I never experienced with the 360 ..

After about an hour or so of play, especially on Battlefield 4 and Ryse I find my left thumb really starts to ache lol, obviously it's different for everyone, different size hands etc ( waits for the age related comments )

Also, I've used various XB1 controllers, my own, family/friends etc but anyone else get the impression ( I'm not saying that's the case ) that maybe their not put together quite right? or the quality might not be the best? because and maybe I grip the controller
too tightly but they do make some weird "crinking and cracking " .. ( best way I could describe it ) noises, I get the feeling sometimes it will just fall to pieces in my hands lol.

 

Yes. When I have the odd white knuckle squeeze moment I expect it to shatter in my hands, not as good build quality as the 360 controller.

At least it's not just me that grips the controller too tightly then lol

I'm just hoping they make a wired controller aswell. I've never been the biggest fan of the wireless ones.

Yeah, mines the same, it's the way the main body of the pad is made from what I can tell.... It seems to be 4 pieces (top, bottom and each side at the back) instead of the usual 2 (front and back). There's definitely a bit of "give" in the joins....

EDIT: It certainly makes it feel more cheaply made, but judging by the rest of the pad I don't think it's that, just a poor design/construction choice.

 

The controller feels like it "gives" more in your hand so it is easier to project feedback through it.
