I just noticed that sheltered has been released for windows and is available in the store app, but listed with a price. I have already paid for the title on xbox console . why should I have to pay a second time just to be able to play the game I already
paid for on a computer versus a console?

this is the same problem that is perpetuated by google, Microsoft, apple, and any other entity that charges for any access to things that have already be bought and paid for. where is the benefit for the consumer ? where is the savings ? how is this not
stealing from someone?

I want my title available , I already aid once for it why do I have to pay a second time ?

Cannot Purchase Games from Game Store

Every time I try to purchase a game I get the PBR2002 error code telling me to add a new payment method. I have added two new payment methods, and I still receive the same error code. I am also having trouble buying anything on Windows 8 with my Windows
Live ID, as well as redeeming Bing rewards credits using the same Windows Live ID. Is there a possibility that something is up with my account? I have also checked my billing overview and it shows no discrepancies.

Connecting to Xbox Live via multiple devices

I am curious as to the reasoning behind why multiple devices cannot connect to Xbox Live at the same time, with the exception of WP7. I understand not connecting via the same account from the same device (i.e. two Xboxes or two PCs), but I am wondering
why you cannot connect with an Xbox and GFWL at the same time. There are occasions where my kids are playing on my account on the Xbox and I cannot play a GFWL game at the same time. To my knowledge, there is no boosting capability since the achievements
are generally disparate.

Is this going to be applied to Windows 8, the Microsoft Surface, and WP8 as well?

Though I mostly agree; However a good bit of work does go into converting a game to another system. (especially when it comes to console>pc, and vise versa where controls are radically different); Though I would say they should offer a deep discount (75%
off sale price) If you own the game on another system.

He should not be playing this game to begin with. Two of my younger sisters are under 16, and I don't let them play this kind of game. They very well know not to as well.

Right, but Games for Windows Live is for Windows. It doesn't have a subscription fee.

So how it works now is that if you play a GFWL Windows game before you do an Xbox game, you don't get the trial. I don't see why the order should matter. These two services have two different subscription models and they shouldn't affect one another.

The Xbox app should already be installed on your PC if you have Windows 11, otherwise you can use the Microsoft Store to download the app on Windows 10. Apart from that, yes, you log in with the account that has Game Pass Ultimate. You should then be able to play two different games at the same time using the PC and the Xbox.

On another note, if the one on the PC is trying to play the games using the cloud, that will be why the other one on the Xbox gets logged out. The one on PC should just install the game on the PC and launch the game on there.

Seems kinda dickish that you have to own two copies of the same game to play. I mean if you own it on one device, under the same account, you should be able to play. Especially considering the xbox one and windows 10 devices are both very frequently used
and updated systems. Also seeing as you have crossplay, its clear that the game can be ported to either system. But I guess the company is happier when they are bleeding us dry for every cent they can.
