Why should i renew service if it's always down?

Seems like every other day there's a service alert or something when i want to play, and all i get is a faceless "we're aware of a problem, we're working on it, please be patient". I'm about out of patience. Am i going to get reimbursed for down time that
I'm paying for? I bet i know the answer to that. I'm turning off my auto renewal until i hear from a human, with some sort of answer.

why not use 12m code then? there is no renew on codes, but every subscription type purchased with a payment Instrument will always activate renew

Smwutches is correct. Those renewals are a one time deal. If you do want to renew your service at a reduced rate still, you can always use a service like pricegrabber to find the best deal online or in a store.

 

The Gold restriction for online play is one of the reasons I shifted to PC gaming, with my 360 ably performing as a media streamer.

However Xbox Live is up 99% of the time. You are never going to get a service that is a 100% and companies aren't foolish enough to offer that.

 

I'd settle for 99%, however, it's closer to 80% now. It has definitely gone way downhill from the 360 days. And getting chopped off mid game when there's a special event 6 times in 3 hours is the last straw - especially when getting an acknowledgment that
there's issues that run deeper than the "order pizza Hut app" doesn't happen. Xbox live is broken, a lot, and spending money blindly supporting it seems wrong to me.

 

More like 70%, the cloud is so unstable they need to just go back to the original platform and add another 5000 servers, that should easily support live, it worked well on the 360 for many years, and there is less users on the one and it falls over to much
for what it is.

 

If you are not happy with the service and don't believe your getting your monies worth stop paying for it.

 

I haven't had a problem with XBL in quite a while to be honest. It's actually be really good as of late, especially ever since those hackers DDoS attacked XBL during December. It's been going good for me ever since.

Have you considered looking into your ISP? Also what is your nat settings at? If it's closed or strict, that's probably why.
