why should i keep xb1?

sense this sucky update im having a crap ton of issues with my videos and getting games to work right and ur controlers suck . i want a fix to this and stop ruining my dang deck with ur sucky updates... my pateince is running thin. FIX IT!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!

What exactly is going on with your videos? With the controller have you tried updating it? What problems are you having with its? For most people including me the update works flawlessly.

im happy ur flawless but mine not so much... been reading other complaints and sounds like routers are the common prob... if this is the issue then it sounds like im screwd. Videos wont play for more then a few secs without crashing or freezing or wont load
at all ... my brother said his is having probs connecting to netflix/utube. Battle Islands wont stay connected for any long period... thats when it does connect. IDK but my deck worked fine till you guys updated it. As for controllers.... yeah i know the story...
just want a fix to this update.

 

if this is a prob with some conflict with my router then wat are my options? this is my last day off... so id like to get this resolved

 

Go to Network settings and go to Detailed Network Statistics and run that test. You really want to have a min of 5mbps download and 2mbps upload. Anything greater than that is always desirable and anything lower than that is going to be pure problems for
online gaming.

 

14.41mbps download 1.13mbps upload

 

Router conflicts do seem to be rampant , ESPECIALLY if your router is also your modem , and double , triple especially if that modem and router came courtesy of your isp ... some can be resolved though ... what kind you got and which isp ?

Is the TWC modem only a modem and no built in router ? If yes . then unplug your router and plug the xbox one directly into the modem and see how it acts that way...

 

like ur approach but saddly the modem has the one ethernet port... remaining ports are 2 telephone and a USB. lol thought for sure ur idea was going to work until i remember i have only the one port with just modem. If no other options do they sell modems
with multi ports? 4 or higher would be gr8 oh and also which is best modem brand to go with?

 

The steps I gave you about plugging into the modem was to test with , if you plug xbox straight up and problem goes away , then it would be your router/settings/firmware....
