    I HAVE HAD MY XBOX ONE SINCE THE HOLIDAYS AND TIL THIS DAY, IM STILL GOING THROUGH THE SAME PROBLEMS OVER AND OVER AGAIN. FIRST PROBLEM IS WHEN I TRY AND PLAY A GAME THAT I HAVE PURCHASED ON DISC AND ALREADY IN THE XBOX ONE AND WHEN I CLICK TO PLAY IT, ITS
    SAYS ERROR PURCHASE GAME IN XBOX STORE. THIS DOES NOT HAPPEN TO ME WITH JUST ONE GAME IT HAPPENS WITH ALL GAMES THAT I HAVE ON DISC. I HAVE TROUBLESHOOTED IT TIME AND TIME AGAIN WITH, HOLDING DOWN THE POWER BUTTON TO RESTART THE XBOX. YEAH THIS CLEARS UP THE
    PROBLEM FOR JUST ONE OR TWO TIMES AND THEN IT HAPPENS AGAIN. I HAVE ALSO TROUBLESHOOTED BY UNINSTALLING THE GAME ON MY XBOX AND REINSTALLING, IT STILL CONTINUES TO DO THE SAME THING. SECOND THING THAT HAPPENS IS THE GAME WILL ALL OF A SUDDEN CUT OFF AND GO
    BACK TO THE HOME SCREEN WITH THE GAME LOGO ON THE SCREEN. THIS ALSO HAPPENS ON A REGULAR BASIS. THIRD THING THAT HAPPENS IS THAT I WILL HAVE NO GAMEPLAY OR ANYTHING, THE SCREEN WILL ALL OF A SUDDEN GO BLACK AND THEN I HAVE TO EITHER HIT THE HOME BUTTON OR
    I HAVE TO POWER CYCLE MY XBOX. IS THIS HAPPENING TO ANY OTHER GAMER?

    Disc read error on downloaded games?

    While playing Ghosts I'm constantly kicked from games with the message 'Disc read error imagefile10'. How is there a disc read error if there's no disc?

    I just purchased NBA Jam On Fire Edition and I am unable to connect to any online features. I constantly get the error message that the EA servers are unavailable at this time. I did not pay $15 for half a game...

    XBOX 360 digital game asking for disc

    Hi,

    Can you please tell us what game you have purchased please? Is this on an Xbox 360 console?

    As for the "This disc is unreadable" error, this is not to be taken literally. This is an issue reading content, but the reason the console gives a disc error is due in no small part to the Xbox 360 Operating system being rather limited.

    The 360 was never programmed with specific error messages for problems reading content downloaded/installed to hard drives or storage devices. When it encounters an issue it displays the only error message it can, the aforementioned "This disc is unreadable"
    error.

    Please tell us:

    What game you've purchased.

    What storage device your console has.

    How old your console is.

    Call of Duty Ghosts

    Disc 2 for Call of Duty Ghosts is for the PC, that could be why it is giving an error message stating that it loses connection to the hard drive, you shouldn't need to install the game to your xbox hard drive in order to play it. If you receive an actual
    error code, post the code here and we will better handle the issue if needed.

    Just to be sure, did you insert disc 1? If you insert any of the other discs first it will give an error.

    You would only have to purchase the game again if you want to own the game digitally. The discs should work.
