    Why payment options are not working?


    I am not able to make any game purchase on my xbox series S console. I m not able to add any payment options. It always says incorrect details entered. I am now regretting my purchase decision. Several of my colleagues in India are facing the same issue.

    If you're trying to purchase the free games on the website, then that's why it's asking for a payment option. The website hasn't been updated to work with the new currency system yet so it requires a payment option. If you make the purchase on the console,
    you don't need to add a payment option.

    I understand this particular issue happens when you have a pending payment on a current card. You will need to call billing on the telephone.

    Microsoft is very difficult at times to change your financial informaiton on and for good reason, the security is a lot tighter than other console competitors who have been in the news recently. Self billing regulation is not permitted purely to prevent
    fraud and protect you. Yes it is slightly more inconvenient but that means that Microsoft is 100% responsible for you unless you deliberately do something against the law. Please contact someone by telephone in order to update and remove any old payment
    information.

    Have you tried purchasing on the console? Do you get an error message/code when you try? What LIVE deal are you trying to purchase? What payment method are you using?

    well i think its because they no longer offer the yearly package at 79 bucks... i just tried paying it month by month and it worked fine... just the 79 bucks doesnt work...

    ahh well atleast i am online
