Why not just put a full version of windows on the Xbox consoles?

If Microsoft were able to add a modified version of windows onto their consoles, that would make gaming so much better. If the modified windows version were not too heavily modified, that would allow easy game porting over to PC for many exclusive Xbox titles,
increasing game sales. This would also work with PC exclusive titles over to the Xbox. Microsoft would also be able to beat Sony to a free online multiplayer that would work exactly like it does on PC, and you could be able to play cross platform multiplayer
games with friends. There is an another upcoming contender in the console market, and that would be steamboxes. If Microsoft were to add windows to their Xbox, there would be no way that steambox sales would surpass those of the Xbox. The Xbox would be cheaper,
more powerful, and offer the exact same and more features. I hope Microsoft realizes this opportunity to dominate the console market, and takes it.

No acheivement points when playing Modern Warfare Remastered on Xbox one!

Why am I not receiving any acheivement points playing Modern Warfare Remastered on Xbox one? I paid for this game on the basis of it being a New game but I should have just put my 360 version in my xbox one, full price for some rerendered graphics, another
exploitation of gamers.

Hi Максим, I hope you're doing great despite the issue you're experiencing. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regard to your concern.

Just a friendly reminder though that the game that you have purchased is the Xbox console version of the game that's why on your windows PC it is asking you to buy the full version of the game.

For the PC/Windows version, the Minecraft that you need to find on the store is "Minecraft for Windows".

Pretty sure their gonna put the full effort into the next gen consoles and just do the same ole, with the current gen, like what happened when the 360 came out and they put smackdown vs raw on it.. the ps 2 version got left in the dust with no attempt to
upgrade any graphics or anything special on it, they put all the focus on the 360 version..

Also check Xbox Live Status. Last year and sometimes XBL mentions I have no friends when I have a full list. It's usually when there are issues with XBL just like notifications may not work when there are issues. Sometimes our gamercore says 0. I'm sure
Microsoft puts in place backup records on XBL. Check on xbox.com Xbox 360 and smart glass if your friends are still there. This is why I don't participate in the Preview thingy. I prefer to have the publicly available official Dashboard version than to have
my console running on a Dashboard BETA. Microsoft announced Windows 10 a few days ago. Who would put that on the primary PC. They say put it on a backup PC. I don't have a backup PC though.

Why take the HDD? Just put it on a USB.

Is the full version any good? Thinking of buying it but want a little more information outside of what the demo offers, like gameplay length, upgrading, achievements, etc.
