    Why not have a free to play online service for the older gen 360 like their is with the Ps3.


    Why not have the Xbox 360 have it optional to have Xbox live gold to get all the discounts and free games if you want that service but if you do not you can just have the Xbox live silver and still be able to play your online games with your friends and
    family online without any problems like you can on Ps3 without the plus subscription and still bring a good user base for the system? I can understand that with gold you offer all the other perks like free games discounts early access to some of the betas
    and other free stuff but why would you restrict the multiplayer side for the older console when having that in play for your newer systems it does make since. This would probably bring in more users the Xbox side if their was this option for players out there
    and also might make them want to buy live to have all the extra perks.

    Should i buy the xbox one or a playstation console

    Recently ive had troubles with the old xbox 360 and im thinking of switching to a new console, Thinkin of switching to the xbox one or stayin with old gen and goin for PS3 wonderin what ps3 online is like any suggestions?

    ONLINE PASS + XBOX LIVE FEES = W T F ! ! ! !

    if you look at what we are paying for if you are a gold member, is online play, we get some extras that most people don't really use like last.fm and....

    but mainly just online play, while the ps3 is free online, why should we pay for xbl?

    i mean we don't get cod elite premium with it or ANY dlc that is free for us, so why are we paying for a service that is free on ps3?

    if your a cod player ur gonna wana head to ps3 and only pay for the cod elite premium feature

    Live Gold is pretty much their only steady stream of revenue. It's not going to happen.

    What no PC gamers here? There's a couple of other gaming services too, like Steam that are free online and also have
    some exclusives.

    Considering that PS3 users got a free copy of portal 2 on PC, Microsoft should severely consider giving some exclusives like that free.
