why no SSL for Forum?

Why is the xbox Forum not encrypted? Is there a Reason to not encrypt this Forum?

Again, open ssl. It's open source software. Everything microsoft do/will do/have done is proprietry, they don't do open ssl but you knew that already.

ABC iView server is always unavailable on the xbox

I am having the same problem. I think it's something to do with this announcement:

There is no need to encrypt the forums. I don't believe there are any gaming forums on the web that utilise SSL encryption, just for the forum. Rest assured though, you are safe, Xbox.com uses SSL when you sign in.

There is ALWAYS a need to encrypt and I think big companies like Microsoft should encrypt ALL their Services like Google does for example.

To what end? Your account section is already encrypted, you can see this for yourself. If you go to your account settings, even while in forum, you will be asked to sign in via an SSL link.

You are protected, no need for SSL on the forums.

Try this steps one by one.

Clear SSL State.
Verify SSL Certificate (DNS settings haven’t fully propagated yet).
Check the System Time and Date.
Clear Browser Cache and Cookies.
Update Browsers to Latest Version.
