Why no auto switch between headphone settings.

Can anyone think of a reason why you would want to use Dolby Atmos headphones in a movie that is encoded in DTS?

Can anyone think of a reason why you would want to use DTS X headphone app in a movie that is encoded in Dolby?

If no one could give an answer to those two questions then why do we have to manually switch between Dolby headphone and DTS headphone every time our movie format on Blu-ray switches from Dolby to DTS? Shouldn't it automatically do it itself?

And what if you have apocalypto which is encoded in lpcm 7.1 with that default to Windows Sonic since Dolby and DTS work on their specific languages the best and windows Sonic works on a generic lpcm the best?

People at Dolby said the Dolby stuff works hand and glove and even says if the part you can't control is DTS like a movie title then you should use DTS equipment with it to sound better. Dolby doesn't pretend to work on DTS movies.

Same thing true at DTS. They don't pretend to play well with Dolby.

So if people bought the license to both Dolby Atmos headphone app and dtsx headphone app that shouldn't it automatically give us the better sound which is whichever one matches language with language?
