    Why no action against modders?

So I know I'm wasting my time. And I know this is an old game.

But still, here on a Monday afternoon there are 25,000 players showing online for this classic old game. The game still has a following yet there is no action being taken against modders/cheaters. I know this because I see the same cheaters week after week.
There is one guy who gets about 5,000 kills a week with very few deaths for the past 3 months. Do you realize how many games a week this guy screws up? It has become hard to find a game without cheaters. I've reported him. I'm sure others have as well with
him *** up so many games week after week.

Today I ran into a group of modders (more likely script kiddies out of school for the holiday using mods created by others) playing together. Team Deathmatch, 7500-100. Seriously, an entire team of modders.

So why doesn't Xbox or Activision do anything about it?

It is sad, I returned to playing this game last summer after several years (playing newer COD releases) and this is my favorite COD title. And there wasn't much cheating last summer and I could tell by the leaderboards that the cheaters didn't last long. Unfortunately
that is no longer the case.

    :)

Why was action taken against my account?

Hey, I know my account was suspended earlier and I understand why. But I recently got a notification that action was taken against my account again and I don't know why. I don't think I did or said anything worthy of action, and the online page for enforcements
is terrible. I've been trying to find my enforcement history for half an hour and I still can't find it. I don't know why this happened but its ridiculous that I can't see why action was taken or what has happened before. I'm very upset that my account no
longer has communication capabilities on Xbox Live and its hurting my xbox experience. Please contact me back soon and help me fix this.

    Enforcement xbox live.

If there is no end date shown, that usually means the suspension has already expired. This would even explain why you cannot review the action.

Is your account still behaving as if there is action against it, or is everything normal once again?

    Why no action against modders?

Yes, it is sad to see these games be played and ruined by these modders and such. But to be honest, years after a games release they do not care about what happens inside the game anymore.

Yes, I agree they do not care about the older games. But I think they should for a title that still maintains such a large user base. So far this week 54,000 players have played the 5 TD games required to be posted on the leaderboard. By the weekend that
    number will be around 100,000.

I understand not patching a game years after its release. But 1/2 hour a week by some intern verifying users who are reported for cheating are actually cheating and banning their account would stop the majority of this. As it is players using the mods don't
try to hide it. They are easily identifiable on the in-game leaderboards due to their high K/D rations... sometimes going hundreds or thousands of kills without a death. For example right now their are 8 players with more than 100 kills and 0 deaths on the
Team Deathmatch top 100 leaderboard and 3 on the Freefall leaderboard for the week. That is only the god mode cheaters, there are other types such as added health, aimbot, nova gas/infinite mortars, etc. All very easy to identify.

I know I'm wasting my time. Went through much the same with with COD World at War. But I'm pretty sure that last fall these flagrant cheaters didn't last long. I didn't see the same flagrant cheaters atop the leaderboard for long where the same names are
    there week after week.

    I got a achievement I didn't earn. Now what?

Like everyone else has said, it is likely a modder was in the same game as you and therefore unlocked the achievement. I wouldn't worry though because if you've not cheated in anyway, action won't be taken against you, only against the modders/cheaters.
The Xbox/Microsoft team look into matters and make sure evidence is solid before taking action, so you'll be alright.

    Tired of Hacker,laggers,modders,glitchers and cheats.

Everyone can blame MS all they want for the modders on any game but what it really comes down to is why is the Game Developer, the people who are actually in control of the game code and ultimately responsible, unwilling to add
measures to prevent such actions? You need to direct your ultimatums to them, not to MS. MS does take action against the modders when they catch them but unfortunately for every one they take down three more pop up. It takes time to investigate each complaint
and take action against them. Some enforcement action isn't instant like people want to believe. MS has to be 100% certain before they ban an account/console from their service.

    UGAM (United Gamers Against Modders)

Hate to double post, but I wanted to throw this out there. Why limit the clan to W@W, or even the COD franchise, for that matter? There are modders everywhere. Granted, some games (W@W) are worse off than others, but there's certainly no shortage of hacked
games out there. Why not create a more effective united front against modders? Gamers Against Modders Everywhere [GAME]. How's that sound?
