Why my Xbox Series X case look like that?

Not even the slightest chance. The console stood on a table by it self without the risk of been dropped from the edge, now it is in a Hard case of case club to prevent it from collecting dust. I'm always gentle with it so it won't absorb shocks.

Can't it be that somebody accidentally dropped it?

By the looks of it, it came loose, check if it is well fitted, if not, try to fit it carefully so as not to damage the console.

I tried but when you apply a little bit force you can feel a resistance because the heat sink is pushing it, therefore I'm not able to return it to place. If I press on a different spot on the same side you can feel the difference by that other spots are softer.

series x has disc drive and the series s does not

smart delivery is so it downloads the content for the specific console

hence why the game case has series x and xbox one advertised on it. the disc can be used in series x and xbox one consoles, the series s does not have a drive therefore requires digital purchase.
