Why my Xbox Series X case look like that?

Not even the slightest chance. The console stood on a table by it self without the risk of been dropped from the edge, now it is in a Hard case of case club to prevent it from collecting dust. I'm always gentle with it so it won't absorb shocks.

Can't it be that somebody accidentally dropped it?

By the looks of it, it came loose, check if it is well fitted, if not, try to fit it carefully so as not to damage the console.

I tried but when you apply a little bit force you can feel a resistance because the heat sink is pushing it, therefore I'm not able to return it to place. If I press on a different spot on the same side you can feel the difference by that other spots are softer.

It looks pretty good in my opinion. I like the style. Still not sure on the name though. Don't really understand why they called it the series X when there is already an X on the market. Seems like it will just be confusing to some.
