Why my Xbox is on and the picture not showing to the tv

Use the TV remote SOURCE button and ensure it is set to the correct input. ie HDMI1, HDMI2 etc that the console is connected to.

Kindly try using a different TV or a different HDMI cable, Duce. Check if there will be an improvement.

If that didn't work, try resetting the display by following the steps below:

"1. If there's a disc in the Xbox console, eject it.

2. On the console, press and hold the Xbox button for 10 seconds to turn off the console.

3. Press and hold the Xbox button and the Eject button until you hear a beep to turn on the console. You’ll hear one beep right away and a second beep 10 seconds later. The power light will flash on before the second beep. Don’t let go until the second beep occurs.

4. In either case, this will boot your console in low-resolution mode (640 × 480). To reset this setting, press the Xbox button to open the guide. Go to Profile & System> Settings > General > TV & display options, and then select the resolution you want from the Display dropdown."

Same problem. I had this once the first time I turned the Xbox One on, but it's happened two or three more times since the update. It hasn't interrupted a game or anything yet, so my main concern is whether this is going to continue to be a minor inconvenience
or if it's a sign of a bigger problem with my console.

I have it also, seems the the last patch messed up something with the coding. All we can do is sit and wait for microsoft to launch another patch to fix the mess but who knows when that will happen. Anyway, the easiest way to *fix it* is to hold power for
8-10 secs then unplug wait 30 seconds and then plug it back in. It will fix it for around 40-60 minutes (for me atleast) then it will go black again.
