Why my games thread marked as fixed when it wasn't

Again, I apologize that we or the Live agents are not able to process the refund for you. Like I mentioned before, those tools were removed from our systems about a year ago.

Unfortunately, nobody on the forums can do anything about refunds. You will need to speak to Support via

Thank you for posting on Xbox Forums. In regards to the issue, as XBF Felixx has previously stated, the way to request a refund now is through the

Refund Request Webform on the website. Once you go through the webform and sent in the request it should take anywhere between 48 to 72 hours to receive a response back. If you are denied then you can reply back fully explaining the billing error.

At this time, since there are no other resolutions for this issue we will be locking this thread. If you have any other questions, concerns or issues please feel free to create a new thread.

I appreciate the replies, no need for apologies Felixx P, the problem is not down to you.

It's very frustrating though, this should be a clear cut refund, my account can be checked, order number and games can be checked, to see they were paid for and I did not get them, also the error should show as proof a malfunction happened. It's like I'm
waiting on trial for days with no contact that anything is even happening, hoping the decision swings in my favor, when in reality no fault in the payment process is mine.

Anyway I did speak to my card provider, as payment has left pending status and is now a solid transaction, they were more helpful in a 10 minute phone call than 2 hours of support agents, plus no waiting or extra forms for me to fill in myself, no deliberate
road blocks to make refunds more hassle, they just took all details over the phone. If I'd never contacted provider I'd be still fobbed off for further days like agent fobbed me off already, with chances of recuperating my money getting slimmer with time.

It need not have gone this way.

Why is this marked as fixed when it's clearly not?
