why my cards details is not accepting

Let's do our best to sort this out here.

First, make sure that there is no suspended subscription or past due on your account subscription page here https://account.microsoft.com/services. Check your account region under "Your info" section from the Microsoft website if it's correctly set. Then go to Payment & billing > Address book to review your shipping and billing information. Everything should match with your card information and it must be issued on that same country. Be sure to add first your card to your account under Payment & billing > Payment options.

To further isolate the issue, try adding a different payment method or add your card to a different account.

i add my payment details and it dosent want to accept them my card works everywere else......

Now resolved

My problem was the name on the account. The Xbox Account, not the bank account/card details (xboxlive...Account/BillingAccountInformation).

After changing this to my real name (rather than nickname), I was able to add a card - BUT still not able to process a payment.

I then added a PayPal account to my xbox account, and...

Back on Gold!

I tried this. I changed my nickname to my name, but to no avail. I even tried Paypal, but it didnt work
