why my account got cancelled and not geeting a refund?

when I cancel active subscription I don't see the option to get a refund. here is what I see:

"We can’t cancel your subscription

You've already paid for your Xbox Live Gold subscription. It will expire automatically on 9/27/2022."

I am trying to understand why my account is not qualified for a refund? why I have to pay the whole year although I cancel active subscription?

here is what I found in the cancellation instructions:

1. Select Cancel subscription or Turn off recurring billing.
   
   • If you choose Cancel subscription and you’re eligible for a refund, you’ll be provided two options: Don’t charge me on (next renewal date) and Cancel immediately and get a refund.
     
   • If you choose Cancel subscription but you don’t qualify for a refund, you’ll be prompted to Turn off recurring billing and won’t see a refund option. Turning off recurring billing will prevent the next charge.

I'm sorry about this. No one here on the forum will know why your order got cancelled. But if it did, your money will be refunded to your. After the refund, try to purchase the controller again. Please check with your financial institution if they cancelled the order on their side and confirm if your Microsoft billing address matches your credit card/bank account address.

My account got hacked in December of 2011. My family plan got canceled and Xbox send them codes to redeem the remainder months of my family plan. Since then Xbox has giving me the run arounds. No refund for anything.... I wish u guys the best....
