    Why must everything Microsoft be so complicated?


    Mods; please move this to the correct place if I posted in the wrong area.

    I just spent nearly 2 hours trying to figure out how to retrieve the email address I am using for my Xbox one as I currently have it set to automatically log in... Of course I can't simply find my email address on MY Xbox console which I obviously have possession
    of... I have to provide my life's history. should this really be so complicated?

    After finally logging into my account... I was then LOCKED OUT and was asked to input a code that was sent to an OLD EMAIL address that I no longer have access to? Guess what... In order to update the old email address to my new existing address, I must
    first verify that I still own the old email address? Confusing? Yeah.... of course it is as long as Microsoft owns it.

    Come on Microsoft..... this is getting ridiculous. It seems as if we're being forced to call in for support only to get some foreigner on the phone who doesn't speak english.

    I'm sorry for ranting and I typed this out quick and sloppy because I am frustrated, but... I can get access to my Chase, Capital 1, Discover and American Express accounts MUCH quicker than I can my Xbox 1 (GAMING) account.... That should tell you something.
    I'm getting rid of this POS system anyways.

    Microsoft sucks

    Why does Microsoft extend so far to try to reach everything. They know all but masters of non.

    One thing is that they only give you 3 topics to choose from ..lol must be new people working at Microsoft these days...

    Cant join clubs or make them on pc.

    Everything is enabled so it must be on microsofts/xbox's side.

    step 1. put disc in tray (unless a digital download, skip this step

    step 2. navigate to the image of the game (if disc put in, this will be the featured option that's pre selected for you), and select A on the controller and it launches the game

    Honestly, it's just using the new navigation for a few days or so and you'll be fine. If you use certain things often, pin them to your favorites.

    unfortunatly only one gamertag can be linked to an email at a time

    simply create a new free email account for your grandson to create a gamertag that you will be able to associate it to.

    (you will also be able to set it as a child account and apply parrental control settings to it)

    this will also prevent you 5 year old grandson to have access to you private emails

    since your email and password is required to log in to xbox live you would be giving your grandson access to all your microsoft services (including access to your billing info)

    for security reasons (including the one's i just mention) microsoft preffer that everyone use sepperate accounts and not to share your info with anyone
