Why most new games crash on my Xbox series X

I’m sure many other people have the same problem. When you buy a games console, especially one that costa over £400, you’d at-least expect it to run the games that are made for the console no?

Buying this console , I was led to believe I’d be able to play 120fps and just better gaming quality!

So how is it, that Microsoft can get away with false advertising?

They say the Xbox series X does all these things but in reality it can’t run a game for longer than 10 mi items without the console crashing , my console is a few months old, not that old, I have it on my desk lay flat, my room is consistently clean so my Xbox takes in no dust!

Yet the console never performs to its expectations!

Playing gta 5 , only lasts 10 minutes

Modern warfare 2 - your game may or may not crash in the middle of a game

Fifa - crashes in the middle of games

All games with a high fps - crashed

Have I got a dodgy console?

What is it?

I shouldn’t have to wonder about why my £450 console doesn’t work? I can try ring but I’ll be speaking to a robot.

All I ask is that when I give my hard earned money I expect something that works in return!

Now it’s not the money, to most people it is , but to me it’s about the truth! Yoy lnew your console was bad yet you still chose to sell it.

There is 2 ps5’s in the house and 1 Xbox series x and although I would love a refund and a console that works, I can’t trust that it will. There fore will be going over to ps5 after 15 years on my Xbox profile!

But thank you Microsoft, thank you for being ignorant , thank you for being manipulative and thank you for your honesty

And next time please just make sure your console works before releasing it, I don’t know how companies get away with this kinds of stuff, but I guess the people are the mugs because we’re the ones who keep buying the products!

I mean the last consoles were good , this one, absolute fail I may aswell just play all the games I wanna play on by series x on the old Xbox one because that doesn’t crash

Now it’s not the money, to most people it is , but to me it’s about the truth! You knew your console was bad yet you still chose to sell it.

I can understand you're annoyed, but I'm not sure how you've come to the conclusion that 'they knew it was bad but sold it anyway'. Pretty much all electrical/electronic devices mass massed produced can have a very small percentage of the product with defects. No manufacturing process can be 100% perfect. Indeed, it's the very reason warranty guarantee's exist. It doesn't mean there is a fault with the Series X product as a whole just because yours isn't working correctly.

If you've only had your console a few months, return it to where you purchased and ask for a replacement or repair. In the United Kingdom it is the duty of the retailer to offer replacements/repairs or refunds within the 12 months guarantee.

Have you tried clearing the cache of the console, sometimes, that can have an effect on games crashing. Failing that, it could just be that you have a faulty console. I also have a Series X, and my console plays games fine.

Hi is it can you tell me when a crash bug fix for xbox series x i coming out my xbox series x keeps freezing the game and crashes playing for 2 min then it turns off best regards theis

Atm its an ongoing issuse, i find it happening most with AC:Val and COD:CW. It happens also with Rouge Company and MK11Ultimate.

There is going to be an Xbox One version of the game, but no news about an Xbox Series S/X version. Most likely it will come to the Series X/S as a backward compatible title. But as I say no news yet.
