Why kinect failed

The problem I'm seeing as to why kinect failed is bc Americans are becoming lazy and fat. I don't know about anyone else but I loved kinect sports it was fun as **** and put you right it the game. The problem is there's to many lazy **** ppl that want nothing
to do with working out. Kinect was awesome for that. Burned calories, increased flexibility, improved hand eye coordination... This thing did some amazing stuff. I think Microsoft should of had more titles come out. There were never any game titles being
pushed to even remotely get ppl interested in kinect and I think that's another number one failure aspect to it. I really wish they would bring it back but actually being something with it. They didn't have anything to win anyone over... If they could some
how integrate the kinect with virtual reality I think that would be extremely cool. To track you're movements of holding a gun in a first person how cool would that be? Kinect had a lot of unreleased potential there not using and I would just like to see a
comeback.

Why does everyone want kinect to fail so bad. When I say everyone Im talking about people without a kinect.

False Advertising, Poor Service

I think it's absolutely shocking Microsoft are not supplying XBOX ONE to XBOX ONE X gamers a free kinect adaptor, its disgrace borderline criminal.

MICROSOFT FORCED EARLY ADAPTORS TO GET THE KINECT - its not the consumers fault the kinect failed so WHY are we being penalised.

The connect was DOA right from the get-go, especially on the Xbox One. In fact, the Kinect is the reason why the Xbox One almost failed. All Kinect is and was a rip off of the Wii. The idea of motion detection on a console other than Wii was ridiculous.
Nobody wants to play games to exercise. That what we have gyms for. The Kinect is redundant.

I really love Kinect and fitness, dance and sport games that I played on it.

It is also best solution to control body in VR. I'll agree with you. We need more Kinect games!

Why not have allowed a AC adapter to power the Kinect, and have it Wifi direct back to the xbox main unit. And of coarse no options at launch for even an extension... even worse, cant use the TV functionality without the Kinect. Fail fail fail

The co-dependency was an issue. Why should I not be able to play non-kinect games if the Kinect fails? It was a flawed design choice. Imo.

If MS aka the NSA lapdogs were to make the Kinect an optional accessory then I might consider getting it. and at Rippen if you honestly think that if the Kinect failed that it wouldn't brick your system then you need to wonder then why they are saying that
the Kinect is integral to the architecture of the system. Hate to break it to you if it fails IT WILL brick your system
