Why isn't this fixed yet?!?

Ok, on every game, every platform I have EVER played should you try to delete something you get an "Are you sure?" question (sometimes more than once!). Yet Microsoft in their infinite wisdom decided
"Nah, that isn't needed, it's not like anyone could possibly press the wrong button by accident."



Why isn't this fixed? A slip of a button has just wiped thousands of gameplay hours a friend has logged, and he isn't the first either. How hard is it to put a "Are you sure?" question, just in case?!

Should people be careful? Sure, but accidents, slip-ups etc CAN happen. My God can Microsoft please get off their *** and fix this!?

Achievement won't unlock

The two achievements that came with the initiation DLC won't unlock. I've put hours into this and it didn't unlock.. Why isn't this fixed?

 

Crimson DLC - Bigfoot achievement not unlocking

Ahhhh super annoying. Why isn't this fixed?!!! It took forever to get the right map, get the mantis, and get a stomp kill. (Legitimately)

 

Is this on the 360 or the One? How are they going about deleting things? It's not often that I delete anything off the hard drive, but I tend to recall there being some kind of prompt before I delete things.

 

It's on the 360 but no, no prompt button. You hit delete, even by accident, bam, all data gone. So stupid..

 

What was the one that you deleted?

I didn't, it was a friend and he accidentally deleted his ENTIRE console data. His profile, every game, every DLC, every save. Gone with the slip of 1 button.

Such a simple way to fix this, 1 extra step inserted with a warning and "Are you sure?". Then this just wouldn't happen..

 

You can`t do it with just one button press.

Firstly you have to scroll through to settings, then select console settings, then select HDD, etc, etc.
