    SSB, that happened to me just yesterday. I keep getting a notification pop-up when Rippenharra comes online, but he isn't listed under my favorites, which are the only ones that should give me a notification pop-up when they come online... :(

    No notifications for friends online for me either... and I have all notifications turned on, including "all other notifications" - not sure why they wouldn't keep this as an option. A little frustrating.

    I'm usually always logged onto xbox.com but not my console. When I'm using xbox.com I'm online but none of my friends on their consoles see me online, they see me asleep if they look at my avatar on their dashboard. And when I visit xbox.com, but am not
    on my console, their console doesn't give a notification that I've come online.

    i am actually happy there is no online notifications, but if they do bring back the online notifications i sure hope they give you the option to turn it on/off
