    I have a series s console i bought gta 5 online for it i bought the X|S version and it says it isn’t compatible with my xbox but i have a series s please help me figure that out it doesn’t make any sense

    are you sure you don't have an Xbox one S? Does it have a disc drive?

    this is most likely the case because a series S can play both

    Hi,

    The 360 version of GTA V is not backwards compatible with Xbox One or Series X/S. This is why it does not appear on your download list on the new console. You need the Xbox One version.

    If you're trying to run GTA 5 Xbox 360 version on the Series X/S or Xbox One, the game isn't backwards compatible.

    GTA Plus is only available on the Xbox Series X|S version of GTA V. That will be why you didn't get anything in game.
